The old saying holds that once you've learned a new word, you'll meet it in conversation almost immediately, and then again, and again...

Similarly, once you've had a painter out to your house for an estimate, you'll start to notice a passel of white vans capering around town--some well-appointed, others less so, but nearly to the driver bent on painting your house at whatever diminishing price point will get your signature on the dotted line.

And at this economic moment, you might hardly be blamed for choosing your painting contractor based on price and price alone; while we at Catchlight believe lasting quality is as priceless as it is timeless, we recognize that today's marketplace dictates that you first seek value.

Our employees: We believe our men and women comprise the best roster of painters in New England, and we treat them with the respect and care incumbent upon us to provide--our painters are provided with health insurance, workers' compensation, access to a retirement plan, regular and rigorous safety trainings, and the opportunity for continuing education within their industry. We take no pleasure in noting that in doing so, we are providing our men and women with the exception to the rule within our business; nor, however, should that point be obscured. Our active commitment to the betterment of our industry: We are proud members of the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA) and its PDCA Residential Forum Residential Forum , are regular contributors to numerous industry publications, and require that our men and women adhere to all PDCA and OSHA standards at your home, without exception. In so doing, we believe that any excellence in execution and customer service necessarily begins with that level of commitment to the best angels of our industry.
Our tirelessness: We believe that the perfect painting company is as yet undiscovered; as such, we leave no stone unturned: we examine our methods and best practices regularly, are member to several small business organizations designed to address and refine our productivity and craft, most notably Advisors on Target, and convene our men and women on a weekly basis to solicit their suggestions on how we might best serve you.
